Scotland’s Public Health Minister, Michael Matheson, has today vowed to press ahead with legislation for standardised tobacco packaging, despite the efforts of Big Tobacco to undermine the initiative.
There’s no doubt the minister is right to criticise tobacco companies for trying to do anything they can to defeat the health measure.
